My first surf rod 12' (spinning) I paired it with a battle3 5000 size reel 50lbs spiderwire excellent results casting the furthest in my life catching bigger fish

The rod is a great value for the price and certainly a Big Bang for the buck. I paired it with an old Penn greenie 704 and it casts a country mile yet still has great sensitivity.

Amazing rod, perfect other than a very slight epoxy drip on the 2nd eye closest to the reelseat.
