My first surf rod 12' (spinning) I paired it with a battle3 5000 size reel 50lbs spiderwire excellent results casting the furthest in my life catching bigger fish

The rod is a great value for the price and certainly a Big Bang for the buck. I paired it with an old Penn greenie 704 and it casts a country mile yet still has great sensitivity.

Rod is great, just what I needed. Service was incredibly slow. Last couple times I have ordered from Penn Fishing the wait time has been very long.
