The PENN Fathom™ low profile baitcast reels offer all the features you need to tackle the toughest saltwater fish. The Full Metal Body and Right Side plate, matched with a brass main gear and bearing supported pinion offer a drivetrain with unparalleled power, while the TiN Coated Level Wind System and Synchronized Drag and Level Wind system (*400 size only) give extra durability under high drags. Available in 200, 300 and 400 sizes with both standard and high speed gear ratios. Left hand models available in standard gear ratio only.

Perfect bait cast reel for throwing artificials I had a 400 and wanted something a little lighter so I went ahead and got the 300 and it casts like a dream this thing will aboslutley sling a quarter ounce and the drag on it is butter smooth

I purchased it mainly because it has a pin that holds the side cover on . It’s a perfect size for steelhead fishing.

I own the 2, 3 & 400 models. What a treat these reels are. Plenty of line capacity and drag. Super smooth winding and drag. They take a beating too. Mine see only saltwater. From slow pitching to black sea bass to live lining bunker for striper to jigging offshore, these reels do it all. Top notch product.
