I absolutely love this reel! I purchased the 2500 for bass fishing in NC. I have fished all my life (51 yrs old) salt water and fresh water. This is a fantastic reel in my opinion. I’m thinking of buying a few more.

I have used this reel bowfin fishing, and it does not disappoint. The drag is smooth, and it can take a beating. It’s the best reel I’ve ever had. I wish I had gone with the high speed, because the regular speed is just a winch
