    I couldn’t ask for more

    This Penn Squall cast great! It has loads of power and great drag range. I have used it in both fresh and saltwater, for both plug casting and vertical slow pitch jigging. I have been very happy with this addition to my fishing tackle.

    squall 400 bait cast reel review

    I recently used my Squall 400 on a mangrove and red snapper trip. This reel is super smooth with adequate drag to land 8-10lb mangroves and 15 lb red snappers. It's an extremely well made reel that should hold up to punishment of the saltwater fishing environment.

    Awesome reel

    This is such a great reel, Feels great in your hand and the attention to the little details are second to none, The spool preload drag knob has clicks, The spool itself has markings for the line. It also casts very well, as well as a reel that is twice the price.
