PENN's proprietary one-piece stainless steel Dura-Guides eliminate guide insert pop outs, one of the most common issues with traditional rod guides. So far so good, couple time fishing so far in fresh water. Lots of power good drag. Definitely a good combo to add to my arsenal.

I purchased this combo for surf fishing at Gulf Shores. I teemed it up with a half spool of 30lb momo then filled the spool with 300 more yards of 20 lb Slick Blue braid. Let me tell you guys something, this rig will launch a 2 1/2 ounce weighted crab or cut bait way out there.

Me and my son went fishing out of Seadrift Tx last weekend and got on some bull reds. They never stood a chance. My son landed a 42”er and I got a 40”er. Love this combo and will be taking it on a 56hour Tuna trip in September.

I chose the med heavy 6'6 30-80 line rating combo. The 6000 size reel is really smooth and i love the power knob since it makes reeling a lot more comfortable. The price is affordable for a great combo with so much power and it looks really cool too. I took it to a small lake the other day and quickly realized that i brought a tank to a knife fight. The fish didn't stand a chance.

I purchased this item for my boyfriend for Christmas and it came with the bail bent and crooked. I emailed in hopes to have some guidance for an exchange and still have not received any contact back.
