The blanks offer our new SLC2 construction with inner spiral carbon wraps and outer layers of longitudinal carbon fibers which provide an extremely strong, yet balanced rod. Fuji® Alconite guides and Fuji® reel seats, provide a durable, yet premium feel. These rods offer the actions, balance, and durability to get the job done.

sent me the completely wrong item, after delaying it before shipping. no sort of help to return or exchange on weekends which is kind of crazy for a company as big as penn

Love this rod. So far it’s been great. Caught a couple fishes on the 5lbs and up side and its handle great, specially paired with my Penn battle 3000 reel.

This is a strong and great looking rod. I paired it with a spinnfisher 6, 6500 model and it's great. I can't wait to put it to the test.

Ordered the medium heavy rod 7ft length and it was perfect. Feels really nice in your hands and should hold up to those big Texas coast fish. Paired it with my 4000 penn battle 2 and it looks beautiful!
